Last year I started documenting my RV travels with digital scrapbooking using the Project Life App using the Kraft kit that comes free with the app. I created a layout for each of the places I traveled. Since I waited until the end of the year to get the pages together, it was a lot of work. I like how the book turned out but wanted to do something different this year. So this year, I’m using the Project 52 Edition kit.
Also, instead of creating a layout for each place I visit, I decided to create a layout for each week that I’m on the road. Project Life has the perfect kit for this, Project 52 Edition. This kit has title cards for each week in both portrait and landscape orientations. I especially like the journal cards that lists each day of the week. I plan on using those to keep track of my location since I often move from one RV park to another RV park in a week.
I really like the color scheme in the Project 52 kit better than the Kraft kit. It has brighter colors and more colors to choose from. I think it makes my pages look more put together. And the graphics are cute too!
My plan is to create the weekly layout on Sunday. That way I can keep up-to-date and not have to play catch up at the end of the year.
I’ve put together the front and last pages using the cards from the kit. I really like how it turned out. What do you think?
Are you creating a weekly spread for your digital scrapbooks? Are you using Project Life? What kits are you using?
