Erin at The Bright Owl has started a new Zentangle Challenge, Zendala Dare. Here is my entry for the first week:

I really like that Erin is providing us with a template with both the Zendala and Zentangle tile sizes. Plus a 8 1/2 by 11 size.

I was recently practicing a variation of the Hourglass zentangle when I saw this week’s challenge on I am the diva. The string for the challenge looks exactly like it. So I started off my zentangle like this:
